Offering a fun, safe, and secure environment where children can learn, develop, and grow.
The Nzen’man’ Child Care Programs is open to all children in our communities, with priority spaces for child members of the Lytton First Nation, Skuppah, Kanaka, and Nicomen communities.
We are open Monday-Friday, from 8:15am – 4:45pm. We provide full time Out of School care during professional development days, spring and summer break.
Currently we are operating our Child Care Programs at two locations, SVNS Site and KSS Site. We offer 54 licensed spaces to families who require child care to fulfill work, education, and personal commitments. There are two distinct programs, each with its own program design and staffing.
The Affordable Child Care Benefits is available to eligible families. Please click on the following link for more information:

The Nzen’man’ Multi Age Program will provide care for up to eight children between the ages one to twelve. Nzen’man’ has three licensed Multi Age Programs, one at our KSS Site and two at our SVNS Site with a combined licensed capacity of 24 children. Our child staff ratio is 1 certified Early Childhood Educator for every 8 children within each Multi Age Program.
The Nzen’man’ Out of School Program will provide care for children ages six to twelve. Nzen’man’ has two licensed Out of School Programs, one at our KSS Site and one at our SVNS Site with a combined licensed capacity of 30 children. Our child staff ratio is 1 certified Responsible Adult for every 10 children.
We welcome children of all abilities to participate in all of our child care programs. Once a child is identified as having additional needs (one to one care, speech and language services for example), we will work closely with the family and other service providers to ensure that playing, learning, and growing will happen in a way that all children feel that they belong, are welcomed, supported, and valued.
